Background:

Nereza was the closest to Zili just because she was the oldest girl. She happened to be going by his room when their father was beating him. After that she never trusted their father really. She is happy to be getting away from her family and might see her brother more often since she will be going to the same school. Her cat is a shadow cat demon that usually follows her everywhere and rarely comes out of the shadows unless she’s alone.

Rosalva found out when she was 8 that she was sick. The sickness will always be with her but it will not kill her thanks to her being a demon. Zili is really the only one that has been around her when she had a very bad coughing attack. He was walking around at night and heard her coughing so he went into her room and held her knowing it had to be painful. She loves being around him and wishes she could go live with him. Her sickness might stunt her growth or make her grow slower then normal, she might not reach her full height till she is 25 and even then she will be shorter then if she wasn’t sick.

Zoria really wants to be like Zili, she likes looking more boyish then girlish. Her parents got into a fight, her father thinks she should act like the girl she is and her mother told him to leave her alone and let her be what and who she wants to

Melinda wants to kill or get rid of Zili so she can take over after their father leaves/dies. She’s had a lot of boyfriends, she makes sure to get ones that will hurt her or try to. She likes the thrill of pain and will do anything to get the high of getting hurt or hurting someone no matter who they are.

All the children have a necklace that keeps there shadow half under control and lets them stay in there human form easier. If it gets broken or opened they all know the spell to fill and repair the vile again but it will change a different color then when their mother makes it. Usually it will turn black, gray, or white if they cast the spell themselves
