Is Irrel suddenly shipping slash? Nah.Meet Alek and Deryn from the Leviathan book series by Scott Westerfeld , biggest ship tease ever. Alek is a prince on the run and Deryn is a girl dressing up as a boy to be a soldier. Problem is: Alec has no idea XD
If you're looking a book rec, read this! It has it all: Mecha, steampunk, alternate history (WWI~), fabricated animals, awesome female characters, and of course... our-love-could-never-be ship, my favorite kind!

i really dont know if they will make a movie, but i will shoot Hollywood and burn the letters if they screw the movie up. IT WAS A GREAT BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I MUST SPEAK TO YOU ABOUT MATTERS OF GREAT IMPORTANCE:
I went to Scott Westerfeld's book signing, and he showed a few peices of Leviathan fanart- AND THIS WAS ONE OF THEM. I practically pointed and yelled, "I KNOW THAT ARTIST!"
But then again, anyone who's any Leviathan fan knows this artist...

Ooh, I love the way you drew this! I bought Leviathan about a month ago. It immediately caught my attention among a bunch of typical teen/vampire books, and I bought it. I made my parents take me to get the next one a day later xD The leviathan series is by far the best book I have ever read yet, and the illustrations are beautiful. You captured their appearances and actions perfectly! I wuv this <3

I can't wait until the third book. Except I hated that Alek was so sexist in Behemoth, even thought that was normal for the time.
