Elizabeth treats herself as an aristocrat, and is spoiled to death by her shadow Peregrine. She's quiet most of the time, but also speaks her mind when she gets ambivalent. She's really fast, despite her fragile form, and she also hates being made fun of for her light British accent. When angered, she has a straight face, but will often deem to do merciless acts towards her offender. However, once you get to know her, she'll be as loyal to you as a dog. Though she might still manipulate you due to her nature, you'll be in safe hands with her protection.She absolutely hates people who go against her, and will not contain a yawn and a rude comment if she thinks you're boring. Elizabeth was born in a wealthy but secluded family in England. She was an only child and was home schooled all her life. She was never allowed to leave their mansion because of her parents' sick wishes. They never wanted a daughter in the first place, however. This lead to her parents to perform sick experiments on her, nearly turning her into a doll by reforming her human parts into doll joints.Her family was infamous for practicing black magic since the Middle Ages, and they didn't have any shadows because of an old misdone curse by their ancestors. This is why they took a vessel that is reborn every generation to act as their shadows and have themselves grafted with their soul. And as a family heirloom, she was given her shadow Peregrine.Though Elizabeth was sick of the way her parents treated her, she couldn't do anything because they were far more powerful than her. Peregrine, upset with what was happening to his master, took it in his own hands to make them escape by destroying a window in her room and fleeing to the woods. Although this meant they had no life anymore, Peregrine was fine with it as long as his master was safe. That was, until they found a mysterious shrine in the sea of trees.
