why? Because it sounds adorable~
Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays to everyone!!
While working on the lines I wasn't sure if I should use my watercolour or normal style. I imagined it with watercolours but I also haven't drawn in my normal style in a while. I still choose watercolours because now I have a reason to make a Spring and Summer artwork with Avarus and Saira in that style as well. :3c
Also first I wanted to give Avarus a nice red shirt - you know I love him in red - but he looked too dark so he got a red scarf instead. I love his outfit here~ ♥
And as every year* a small shout out to those who supported me with small and big comments, little chats and whatnot!
But of course also thanks to everyone else for the support!!!
*I thought I did that every year but I forgot it last year... Aah well.
btw I got fever over night, just in case you're wondering why I'm not answering~

Lemme tell ya about this outfit!!! sorry Saira I love you but I'm in love with Avarus everything is so chic but not so much in the same time!! Remembers me a little of vitorian age with this Cape??? And this gold "pin" but the scarf is a little modern, it's too beautiful!!!

I wouldn't be surprised if that's something you can find in the Victorian Age, it's usually often my inspiration for clothes. This time I didn't look for references at all but it's probably still always in my mind xD

I absolutely love this piece. Your watercolour style is stunning and I’m so pleased to see you using it for your cuties. It creates such lovely effects when the “colours” run into each other. I also particularly love the way Saira’s eyes are in this picture—she looks so eager and happy. It warms my heart.
The background is also really beautiful. I like how, although it’s blurred, we can still see the trees, the beautiful lampposts and the snow. I also can see the corner of a stall and the gingerbread hearts, so I’m thinking that these two went to a Christmas market.
And, finally, I have to mention that the outfits here are amazing. Although we love the characters in their usual outfits, it’s so nice to see them in different clothes. The details on Avarus’ scarf and Saira’s belt and mantle are exquisite—but I have to admit that my favourite part is Avarus’ cloak!

It was a successful experiment and I'm happy I had the guts to also use that on my own characters. I know I was afraid for a couple of weeks
This piece was actually a redraw of a very old piece I did last year or in 2017. I need to show you
just a market, don't forget there is no Christmas in my world
I'm totally in love with Avarus' outfit here. I was planning to redraw the outfits of the first Christmas picture I did, but then I changed my mind with Avarus and it wasa good decision.
