I fixed the colours. I guess this should be better now~ I really have to learn more about colouring and shading with black_ _
People from tumblr may remember this one . This was the first time I drew the first Greed and I'm so happy I could finnaly colour it! ^w^ and I also edited a lot of thing. It was really necessary
And sorry I don' know how Greed got this stupid cute charming grin. I didn't want that on purpose but he looks so adorable

Thank you! I'm happy you noticed that! I actually do take the design of the manga Greed when drawing him. I just prefer his red eyes and his dark shield. I also don't really get why they changed the shield colour ind something that bright compared to the original colours, but it probably fit better to the general colours for the anime. '03 anime was pretty dark so the black fitted more into it, I guess.

I never noticed that for me they always looked violet to me, except for when he's in the shield mode, I don't know if I'm remembering that correctly but in the '03 anime there his eyes turned red. But I prefer his eyes being general just red. The contrast is just too pretty on him <3

People also still seem to forget his eyes are purple on both original and greeling... sadly

that's right for the anime but not for the manga and I prefer the colour scheme from the manga more, that's why his eyes are red. Same thing goes for his Ouroboros sign on his left hand. It's upside down in the anime and I draw it like the mangaka does it. So I or other people don't forget anything it's just that we stick to the original which is for me the manga.
People also always draw his shield as shirt. He doesn't wear a shirt but the anime (both) show him like he is wearing a shirt but that's actually not right.
That are the differences from the anime to the manga. There is nothing right or wrong. You just can choose what you like the most. :3

ah don't worry! It's alright. I can understand that it looks strange if you just know his violet eyes. And I also can understand if you see him with red eyes over and over again that you want to say something against it, especially when he is your favourite ;3
but that's why I told you that there are, unfortunatelly, some differences which can lead to confusion.
