During her infection witch was suffering from depression and when her body was high jacked by the green flue she also was partly there her human self suffering from sugar cravings and knowing what she became she takes to herself crying once the survivors come in her space the green flue takes over if she kills her senses return as she knows what she done is monstrousΒ she rubs off cryingΒ

I like the witches. Sure, I get eviscerated by one now and then, but it's my own fault. Generally I treat them as I would a dangerous wild animal, taking the opportunity to observe them while keeping well away. If one blocks my path, I try to find a way around, not just because fighting one is dangerous, but because I don't want to harm them. They're already clearly in enough pain, to the point that I see them as the severely ill people that they are rather than as vicious zombies. Other special infected are deadly predators who use their mutations to hunt you like animals, but the witches won't even bother you unless distressed. They just want to be left alone. They're not monsters. They're scared. If the game weren't just about shooting zombies as you move between evac stations, I would spend most of it trying to find ways to communicate with the witches, or failing that, to at least interact peacefully with them. Poor things.
