You know what, alot of people put down a lot of crap on this , saying that it wasn't interesting or anything. But I love it! I think its classy but sexy, with a perfect mix between the two. Adorably innocent, but in a naughty way. I love it!

¬¬ I can't believe how many nude bodies, actual photo's of both man and woman parts, you can run into on this site, a site that's supposed to be PG-13!
I'm no young kid anymore, of adult age, but I know kids! They lie about their age to see the more mature art and there's no way the site can prove they're not!

I agree that holding a camera up to your vagina and snapping a pic is not art...but I have seen numerous extremely well executed pieces featuring vaginas on DA.
If a very well lit and well composed shot featuring a hand would be considered art, I don't see how it becomes different because the area featured happens to be something sexual. Is erotic art somehow...not art?

That depends on the situation, it is art... but put yourself in the scenerio your old enough to view it but didn't look it up. Your just logging into DA, a kid friendly site and when the page loads, a pic of someone just showing their vagina to the world pop's up.
Then picture in that same instance your baby sitting someones 4 year old or your baby brother walks in.
Picture the scenerio turns when the kid notices that piece before you can change the page.
There are adult art sites out there on the web.

Well, as someone who views nudity and sex to be things of beauty that should be fully embraced, I personally would not have a major problem with such a situation--though I admit I would try to avoid it from happening nonetheless lol.
DA is a large community, including countless adults, and I would personally disagree with any attempt to turn it into a PG-13 site (which, by the way, it is not purported to be). Deviantart is a site for displaying art of all forms and is considered "safe" for those under 18 due to a mature content filter. Those under 18 who chose to bypass the filter are finding more explicit material elsewhere on the interweb. For the kiddies, there are children sites out there dedicated just to them, just the same as there are adult sites for adults as well as sites for everyone, such as DA. And for those adults who wish not to view adult material on DA, they can simply go into their settings and uncheck "show deviations with mature content." This should keep everyone happy.
