Description
Challange: Design a modern kimono with a floral and butterfly pattern. You may choose one butterfly from the selected list. For the flower and color scheme, it is entirely up to you

Flower: Tsubaki (Camellia) In japan the tsubaki can be thought to symbolize a short lived blaze of glory. It is a flower that was beloved by the samurai nobility of old japan. Like butterflies their lives are fleeting. The tsubaki blooms anywhere from December to February

Kimono: it's a triple layered kimono the bottom layer is a pale ivory halter necked under kimono. The next layer is a burgundy furisode with butterflies scattered towards the lower part of the sleeve. And it's top layer is a deep green furisode (which name durives from it's long fluttering sleeves) with a brighter green contrast painted with tsubaki's bordering it's base.

Accessories:
kanzashi- (head piece) is a butterfly sitting atop a tsubaki bloom with tendrils of red and gold ribbons dangling down at the side.
choker- placing the tsubaki at the opposite side of which the kanzashi is worn.
obi- a solid pale yellow gold
obiage- a green cord tied around the obi knotted at the center front and decorated with yet another tsubaki
