Description
"You can't hide from the fact, Echo."
"There is no fact to hide from. You are lying. I am a liar as such every word you speak is so."
"But you accept you are a liar, I am the part of you you despise and reject. But you do care for the others, you would feel grief if they were gone."
"I don't care for anyone! Everything that I do I do for myself. For some objective in the future, everyone else can go burn."
"Then why did you feel grief when Skinner died during the trial? Or when you realized just what you had done to your friend? Joy when you saw that Skinner was still alive, would still be around? How could someone as heartless and selfish as you think you are feel those emotions?"
Ah man, I finally finished Babylon floor 6 <33 I thought i would never get this done. If you were to ask echo and get him to respond honestly to "what are you like inside?" He would say he was heartless, cold inside, a monster. But this isn't true, he does care for others. He feels grief when others get harmed, he feels a loyalty to those he cares for. He is not nearly as selfish as he may proclaim himself or think that he is. He does in fact, have a heart. Just one to which is highly guarded and locked away.
