well... if the goal was to make her into your zelda not the zelda... I'd say you missed the mark, she looks very much like the original... maybe if you did something more with her face or hair color or something besideds just shifting the ears.... the anatomy is also a little funny but it's not way out of whack. The shadeing kinda looses it's umph when we get up to her shoulders there...
I know that all sounds harsh but here's the good stuff ^_^
the color movement in the ripples on the tresses are very well done, it shifts ever so slightly in color but enough to show movement and depth all at the same time. Her face is in profile and the eyeplacement there is very well done, kudos. all the pices of the original Zelda outfit are all there, it's quite a buggar to get every single freaking detail into the figure, allways feeling like I forget something and it shows up about a week later and I get very angry so you won't have to worry about that here... you've got everything that could fit on that apron that matters. She's got a 'what's going on over there' look on her face

Her dress is very beautiful but the top of her dress is a little too loose looking and her hair looks a little 2-d in comparison but I do really like it

Now, the picture's overall style works well, but, this is just me being nitpicky, the hands are really small compared to the face. Usually hands are about the same size as the face (not the entire head, but the face). Usually, it helps to compare the face and hand to an inanimate object when you're drawing them (say the hand is as big as an eraser, you'd want to make the face a little bigger-but not much).
The ears, however, and her expression, I love. The face came out well, and the design is lovely.

Many people have complained about the ears but finally someone likes them! YAY! ^_^ Oh, and hands really aren't my thingy, but it was a very good tip to at least make them the right size XD.
