DARK FANTASY FARMS WESTERN SHOW ENTRY 
Ok guys I am so proud of the way this came out, even the person I am proud of!! I used a Reference on it 
and here is the link - [link] It was actually A picture I took and its on my other site. If any of you need great Reference, well I think I do pretty well with my photography 
but yup I loves it!!!!For Britt, Mell, and Ange - doesn't the person look like Tina ( the face and hair part) hehehe XD

[link] . .(from the horses view) . . The gate to the Arena swung open, unlike many of the those before him, Willie charged in excitedly. He felt the pressure of the bit call him to a halt, but he wanted to go. He reared and swung around attempting to be released. His rider softly spoked to him but he didn't want to hear it, he wanted to go and show the others what he was made of. He continued up and down but the invisible wall the bit seemed to have wouldn't allow it. Pacing and prancing his rider circled him. .. . Finally turned toward the barrels he was released. His powerful legs charged him forward toward the barrels. His heart beat pounded in his chest as he tore the arena apart. He was nearing the first barrel, he felt his rider pull back and sit hard. He braked as he swung his body effortlessly around the blue barrel straightening up and gaining more speed he was off to the next. . .

i adore this picture! its amazing and does capture the amazingness of barrels! yeah! lol, barrels rule and ya'll know it! lol, anyhow,the horse is perfectly posed and the only thing is the rider looks a tad off balance, but not by much, and the hat should go down a little more inless its gonna fly off in the ride! lol. i have ridden full speed around a barrel trying to pick it back up! lol, full run and my horse was going where he wanted...lol, it looks amazing, you honestly did do a great job with it as i cant really find anything wrong with it! bravo!

lol, you did amazing anyway. i live western, i go everywhere with my boots on, but i have to remove the spurs so i dont break them...lol, you did amazing. i have the fastest pole times for 5 years in a roll at my riding club and im getting a new barrel horse since my one horse is retired for leg issues...and mental issues(doesnt like gates and gets nervous if he sees poles or barrels in the same arena hes in). but i love what i do and plan to do it a whole lot longer. i won my first saddle the first year i was able to..and another one the next year...lol, but i have also taken a few reserve champions, i love to ride. its nice to see someone who knows how to draw a good barrel picture though... there are *counts* 8 barrel pictures taken by friends and family in my room, 2 of NFR barrel racers and then i have tons more of professional taken photos of NFR barrel racers. i enjoy barrels tons, so im happy to see ya nail that photo, wow this is a long comment, so i will wrap it up... congrats on your art and hope to see more of ya in the future.

hahah yeah love western I tried english on my lil pony and she seemed to like it better but i didn't, its fun to change it up but I'll nver leave western haha. I don't take her to gymkhana comps but when our barn does playdays we rock em haha
yeah a lot of older more experianced barrel horses get that way with the gates and poles haha. yeah if you love barrel pics and such check out my photography side I havn't been to a race in a bit due to weather but I love going!

i mainly do barrels and poles along with cow events, but i have done gymkhana for quite some time.my paint had the most points overall one year. we kicked butt there. he set some of the fastest pole times and barrel times. love him and hes only 11 or so. but he has navicular(spellin?) so he doesnt do to well. he ran for 5 years with it. when we got him he was the worst case our vet had ever seen on a young horse. and our vet had been around the block, hes retired now...lol. he can only be ridden for 15 minutes every other day so he doesnt get too bad...

haha naw I know I don't but I see a lot for the racers in the norco and jarupa races! but thats cool I understand, I don't mean to be a creeper but one of the coolest things I love DA for is meeting people from all over and I love asking about where they're from and such, so didn't mean to be a stalker like creeper XD

thank you!!! the picture i used ( one i took) that specific horse and rider is awesome to photo graph because they have such awesome movement. I love capturing them and with out the ref I wouldn't have been able to show it!!
