I spent soo long doing this...approximately 32 hours. I'm going to redo the background some time later this summer cause I'm not happy with it at all.Lots of references used X_X ie) magazine clipping of the model and random google photos for the chair

Oh my georsh, thats fabulous! I love how everything looks so real and touchable, that if you were to reach out you could feel the silky smoothness of the dress, or the chilly mist, or I need to stop talking because I sound silly.
Anyhow, this is a job better than well done. And I hope that poor girl doesn't wake up with a terrible crick in her neck. I fell asleep like that once in a car, and did not wake up feeling young.

Wow, the silk dress looks so much like... well, SILK! 
But I'm still confused about the 'Nightmare' title; is it to throw off the viewer associating yellow with happiness with a forboding background like that to create an errie feeling, or is that simply because you think your background was a nightmare to do. I've had trouble doing them meself, even without certain color moods like this, but this is by far the best I've seen IMHO (I can see what tools and brushes you've used, and I think it really works well.)

yes, the bench took a lot of time, I didn't have fun doing the wooden texture on it....got impatient at that point

The detailing on this dress is amazing. I really do love it. And I appreciate detail like that. Working with fabric normally does. ANYWAY, great job. I love the feel of it. XD

thank you...I'm not sure on the patience part X3 but I do owe what I have of it to my lovely piano....painful hours of practice did indeed taught me something...great. that just proves my parents are always right -_-

It's a fairytale, actually. You should be able to find it by lots of authors. I have the book that's accompanied by gorgeous illustrations. They look just like this picture, which made me think of that. :3
