Oh man these are so good! I love the way you draw them, with clear expressions but without losing too much realism to them. I especially like how you featured all species

And haha, no I really needed references. I saved pics to my phone and during lulls in class I'd open them up and draw them. Maybe one day we'll both be able to draw each without references lol. And flamingo heads are totally difficult, it took me a minute to figure out starting with ovals instead of circles was the better option xDĀ

Ah, gotcha. Looking up refs while class is boring sounds like a good strategy lol. The amount of doodles in my notebooks are also inversely proportional to how interesting the lecture are haha. Oh yeah, ovals are the way to go with flamingoes. Loooong ovals. They are weirdly stretchy in their face. It's funny how they look pretty normal when you just see them, and it's only when drawing that you realise just how weird they are.
