Hehehe the type of paint u use is REALLY important trust me
i would not recommend using cheap materials~
basically because if u have great skills but cheap materials, the paintings will still turn out uhmm how should i say it.. idk. Bad?
now dont get me wrong u can find cheap materials that are still good and will do you the job but thats a rare thing..
I use a russian brand watercolors-Sonett~
they arent high end watercolor but they arent that cheap hehe
somewhere in the middle ^^

I was just gifted (yesterday) a very old set of 24 russian watercolors. I did some research and they are st. petersburg, but very old. I swatched them out and almost all activated right away. it took three some time wet, then activated. I've been playing with them today. I am also waiting for a set of 12 .5 pans, Shmincke, can't wait
