And here is what you said about this picture in 2003 :
A piece I did a few years ago, after Cryotek's bio was pasted on BotCon's site -- I loved the idea of Cryotek being Megatron's mentor and his involvement with the theft of the Golden Disc. So I drew up this portrayal of the event, based loosely on those old Romantic-era pieces centered around important religious and historical events. Most of the fun was coming up with pre-beast altforms for the Predacons. I'm not sure what some of them turn into -- Megatron and Dinobot in particular -- but Waspinator is a helicoptor and Terrorsaur is a jet. I originally titled this work "Betrayal," because Megatron's imminent doublecross of Cryotek, evident by his smile and the gun behind his back.

Cryotex is Megatron's adoptive father in my Transformers series: "Transformers: Sigma". Here the two token humans are actually useful! Cryotex will be a Cybertronian snowcat who rules the Cybertronian black market. We see war, he sees opportunity
