My first Dean painting! Continuing with my study on facial expression. Going for sad, in case you couldn't tell.
Not sure how I feel about this one. Sometimes I like it, and sometimes I just think his face looks weird. I dunno. At any rate, it was fun to do, and good practice for sadness. He's a tough one to draw, though. His face is too symmetrical and pretty, it's impossible NYEH.
Sam is next on the agenda- hopefully I can get to that soon. c:

Materials:
Watercolor (baked and from tubes)
White ink (highlights in the tears, mostly)
90lb Cold press paper

Time: Honestly, I'm not entirely sure. Probably around 15 hours total, though. The drawing took the longest.
