Description The Vileblood Barons of Cainhurst are a bloodline of minor nobles of old, which once had an elevated social status in Yharnam's society.

The Cainhurst Nobles' fate started to became one with the Old Blood once they partook in the Hunt for the Beasts, in which the Healing Church was the main leader, and restless hunter.
The rise in power of the Church eventually bothered the aspirations of the Cainhurst Barons, and they started to perform their own ritual of the Blood, heretical to the one of the Healing Church, through the betrayal of one of the Scholars of Byrgenwerth, where the Old Blood was originally discovered, and rested.

As the Church discovered the plot, it declared the Blood brought to Cainhurst as corrupted and unpure, and waged a war on the Nobles.
As Cainhurst Castle was attacked, the Vilebloods were slaughtered, and only a handful of them successfully fled to Yharnam. The Executioners of the Church, led by Logarius, did not spare anyone, men and woman were slaughtered alike. The women were bound and had their throats slit, and some were beheaded. Some say that, in the ruins of the castle covered in eternal snow, their ghosts still weep their gruesome fate.

Logarius remained behind, to become the unpleasantly resilient gaoler of the last of the Vileboods, Annalise, the Undead Queen.
Annalise's and Logarius's fate remains unknown, but someone, around the entrance to the Old City, still questions himself about it.

"You're a beast hunter aren't you? I knew it, that's precisely how I started out... Oh, beg pardon. You may call me, Alfred. Protege of Master Logarius - Hunter of Vilebloods! So, what say you? Our prey might differ, but we are hunters, the both of us. Why not co-operate, and discuss the things we've learned?"

Someone else, though, has just been given a letter, with a rather unknown crest on its sealing wax...
...and it's signed by no one else than Annalise, herself.
Do not hesitate, hunter. The Stagecoach leaves from Hemwick Crossing.

EDIT: Complete overhaul.
