Description
One of my favorite owls: the saw whet.Adorable little buggers.
Prismacolor pencils on cardstock. The paper couldn't hold a lot of layers, so is looks a bit flat. But considering the fact that I did it in less than 12 hours, it's good for me. c:
The eyes are obviously my favorite part.
Critique/constructive criticism welcome!

beautiful! I really thought this was a photo from the thumb. You really did a wonderful job on this, I love the depth of the eyes. Great job with coloring the black in, it looks very realistic and a lot of people have trouble with black. The eyes look just beautiful!
You may want to define a few more strands around the eyes though, and on the chest to make it seem a little more detailed, but it's amazing here. Maybe adding some more detail in the feathers around the beak, they look good but maybe a few highlights might really make it pop.
but really this is great. You captured this Owl so well, amazing work all around, I hope my critique can help in some way.

Amazing! I don't think it looks flat at all; I mean, the shading isn't crazyuberholywow detailed, but it's still detailed enough that it doesn't look crappy (in fact, it just looks amazing!). I also love how close it is, and the placement of the eyes, which are awesome. Great job!
