Nobody is sure what causes this phenomena, but the numerous multi-colored fungi growing on the trees may have something to do with it. Despite this, the forest does have inhabitants who learned to deal with living in such a bizarre place. However, the location of whatever village Whirlock houses is a secret to outsiders.
