Made with JWildfire. I just can't help myself -- another variation of The Hatchery Awakens . This time, after using the G'MIC-Qt angoisse anguish filter, I used a saturation to alpha map, underneath a plain red background. I added a third layer on top with stripes, with "difference" blend mode. The stripes and corners themselves are red. It makes for this really nice inversion effect.

Sure looks painful. Whatever is happening. Or maybe it's just alien rock. Either way, this image has so much depth, a lot of jagged textures, I like it a lot.
