Watercolor on Arches cold-pressed 140 lbs, 9" x 12", December 2020.I've been wanting to paint lotuses all year, ever since my waterlily painting this past February. But as usual, this turned out absolutely nothing like I envisioned. I don't hate, so I guess that makes it a win, right? Maybe it'll grow on me once I get a little distance from it.
