I've had the line art for this in my sketchbook for over a year and a half, and just couldn't think what to do with it. With the arrival of Arizona's summer monsoons last month, inspiration finally struck. I was greatly influenced by the works of Arthur Rackham with this. I'm not totally pleased with how the colors worked out but I love the line art, and had a blast doing it - why did I wait so long to try ink and brush? I don't know but this won't be the last piece I use it in!
