Description Some unfinished and forgotten temple in my grandma's village - Stefan Karadja ~80 km alway from Varna (Bulgaria).
It sort of... represents the state of the religion in my country - solid and massive outside but hollow inside.
Really sad.

HDR from 3 RAWs.

So much hard work and skill gone to waste! Beautiful architecture is so rare these days - to leave it undone seems criminal. The gloomy sky fits nicely.

It is HDR which stand for High Dynamic Range image. Usually the way to achieve it is by combining 3 or more frames taken at different exposure.
There are a lot of tutorials in Deviantart about HDR which will help you understand how to achieve such effects.
Take a look at that: [link] a little hint for you how I did it.

trying to capture the best of both worlds i guess right? thanks a lot,, ^^' i've been wondering what HDR was,, so does the camera do the work or do you combine them later on programs like photoshop?

You should use the autobracketing function of your DSLR camera if it has it. When the autobracketing function of your camera is on it will take 3 or more shots rapidly each with different exposure. Then you will have to use some software to combine them. The software of my choice is Photomatix.
