Character Info:
Amidst Nathan’s most life altering traumatic existence, that existence of his where he was stuck in a spiraling, perpetual instability where his mind's reality wrapped to cope , comprehend but more so deny that which was too much for his psyche to handle. He happened to wander into an old, decrepit building within this building he met another, a much older being who could not only relate, but has his own reality to deal with.

Fascinated, Nathan grew attached to this old man, whether his emotions showed it or not. He would often find himself coming back, mostly for a roof to stay under, provided if his host was lucid enough to not go off on him or worse. This being the start where Nathan calmed his erratic attacks on those he deemed apart of the organization, who attempt to sell him and his sister in human trafficking ending is a tragic result. His focus shifted to more staging methods, though his mind still refused to accept his sister's demise, clarity began to flood his head more and more. Allowing him to properly assess those around him, and find proper information about the human trafficking ring.

He finally noticed something odd about the world he lived in, something that his mind's eyes opened up to observe which he concluded must have something to do with Crystal. He just wasn’t quite able to comprehend it all in his hyper delusional state of mind. Now with a clearer head, he was able to pick up on the changes he's been experiencing. This included the old man, and his other oddities.

Curiosity got the best of him, he did what he does best. Began to follow and stalk the old man around. Nothing new to him, in fact doing so was always so thrilling to him like a game. During one such night, he noticed him round a corner and poof, gone. So it would seem, confused Nathan emerged from his hiding spot walking to where the man was. Like something out of a movie, he stumbled into something he wasn’t prepared for. Landed face first in a foreign land, more so a foreign place altogether. The world known as umbra.

This is where he met a whole need set of challenges, not like ones on earth. This game was life or death, something to NOT take lightly. Within the years of this world, he met many strange beings. One whom he enjoyed the company of and the other who he would damn. Amongest these new faces he met Ciara, a tough, closed off woman, which he made a more personal connection with. She was the one to help to only clear the mind fully, but accept the reality of his twin sister’s death, something both could relate to on an emotional level.

For her, he made up his mind. His life is much shorter than hers, the thought of leaving her alone, to suffer, to mourn, he would not accept this. Despite some others trying to convince him otherwise. He set out into Umbra’s lands to find someone to give him what he needed without costing him what he cherished most, or twisting him up into a scheme or contract. Someone who he could but his own trust in, in order to be with the one he loved.

He fought his way through this harsh lands, gathering info and names of many, demons, faes, witches, and some searats, he concluded whom he could trust to grant his desire with promising results. However, getting there would be a harder task, that most if not all humans would not be able to travel and survive, at least not a regular him like himself. Against all odds, he managed to make it all the way. He asked the one he chose only the gift of a longer life, not expecting anymore above this request. Instead, The Empress granted him much, much more...

-WIth this timeline, I am going with a few ideas I had for Crystal that her soul is still linked to Nathan in some way, so when still human he was more than just an ordinary human.
