Rem's pretty much the only major character I didn't already recognize when I started reading DN. I don't get why Ryuk seems to get so much more publicity than Rem - she's a much more interesting character, and I think she's cooler looking, too.

Ryuk is funny and interesting, but Rem has so much more character.... That's why we few Rem fans must ban together! lol. I love lots of the DN charas, but I do indeed think there needed to be more Rem... ;_;

I found it really hard to keep reading for a while after volume 7... I got back into it after a while, but honestly, I'm not sure I'm clear on what happened in most of volume 8. I was all

It always did bother me that they never really explained Rem's relationship to Misa.

Considering I didn't like Misa to begin with, I can't say I like Rem that much either. To me, the two of them were just sorta getting in the way of L and Light's mind games. And that's the other thing I didn't get. I understood she was willing to do anything for Misa like that other random death god, but why exactly? What is it about Misa that makes her so special? I mean, if Rem is in love, okay, sure. Just let us know because their relationship is very ambiguous. I just don't know why they didn't explain their relationship clearly since it was such an integral part of the plot. And just so we're clear, are you trying to make them a couple? And if so, you realize Rem is a girl, right? XD; I honestly don't care if you're making a girlxgirl pairing, but I just have to be sure.

Lawl. I'm not trying to make them a couple. I just love Rem's devotion... And Yeah... Misa did get on my nerves sometimes... but Rem is my fav... :/ Also, I kinda like it when animes do stuff like this and just kinda leave you wondering and filling in your own gaps.
