i stretched his face OTL as i do with so many other faces...UGH
the hair is just a mess
i swear there are portrait artists on dA who have increased contrast (from ps or the scanner) on their pencil drawings. it's so IMPOSSIBLE to make it so black T_T unless you use charcoal. but that's not pencil!!!!! ugh

I tried buyinh an 8 and 9 B pencils, it just came out shiny though.

lol all pencils are shiny except for my staedtler ones that have a charcoal-like quality...it's difficult to draw with them though ><
