15.04.13... for me that is. If Park hadn't allowed Eleanor to read his comics with him, they wouldn't have known how to start talking.
they really do make a very cute couple. I suggest you go and check it out.
I spent way too much time than I should've on this. I'm still trying to figure out an easier colouring technique than the one I'm using
and don't even get me started on backgrounds.

This is amazing, this is much more how I imaged the two of them. People either draw Eleanor morbidly obese or very thin, and I get that people imagine how characters looks differently but seriously? Anyway this is such an amazing piece ^-^ And I love how park is drawn too

Thank you for creating and sharing this. I'm curious: Did you use a particular comic as the model for what Park is reading? I wondered how obsessively you tried to match that to a particular point in the story. Not that it takes anything away from the wonderful image; Rainbow was right in her comments about it. You totally tell the story of each of them in that moment. It brings the book back in a very powerful way.

As for the comic pages: according to the book, it was what he was reading at multiple scenes in the story. As to whether or not he was reading them at that particular point when he decided to let Eleanor read with him, I'm not entirely sure. It just seemed fitting for it to be an X-men comic. It didn't really matter to me what was happening in the comic (if that was what you were asking). I just tried to find pages- that were available online-Β that at least looked like a continuation of events.Β
