This is an entry for 'Draw Tom Ripley Contest'I love this film, it gives me so much feeeelings.
He said he wants to befriend me
which means
he can't possibly know me
the voices of the real
and the imagined cry

I voted for your painting, because I think it youΒ΄ve got tom ripleyΒ΄s problem figured out best of all.
he seeks a perfect world, and every time he finds something imperfect, something that is in his way, he distinguishes it. in a radical way. and although heΒ΄s always lucky enough to get away, he doesnt make his world perfect at all... in the end heΒ΄s litterally cutting his own flesh by what he does, for all buried things come back to the surface one day....
I think your picture shows that pretty good. especially his two "personalities" with the words written mirror-invented.

I haven't watched this, this is making me curious! You did a fantastic job with his face - although I don't know the character I've seen the actor and it's spot on.
I love what you did with him tearing his heart and the background really adds more awesomeness to the whole image. Well done!

Wow!.. I'm impressed by the creativity you put in this work. The background is so cool. And I love how he tears his heart. I hope you can find time before deadline adjusting his hands a little bit for best result. By the way, who is Morrissey? and where is his quote/poetry from? It sounds good with the story in the movie.
