I voted for your painting, because I think it youΒ΄ve got tom ripleyΒ΄s problem figured out best of all.
he seeks a perfect world, and every time he finds something imperfect, something that is in his way, he distinguishes it. in a radical way. and although heΒ΄s always lucky enough to get away, he doesnt make his world perfect at all... in the end heΒ΄s litterally cutting his own flesh by what he does, for all buried things come back to the surface one day....
I think your picture shows that pretty good. especially his two "personalities" with the words written mirror-invented.
great job!!

This is really well done... you can see all the feeling you felt in the film show up in the image.

I haven't watched this, this is making me curious! You did a fantastic job with his face - although I don't know the character I've seen the actor and it's spot on.
I love what you did with him tearing his heart and the background really adds more awesomeness to the whole image. Well done!
I love Morrissey

Thank you! Yeach, I'm going to fix it a bit, I think I just need few days to fresh my mind about it)
And Morrissey is a singer, that's a quote from his song 'How Can Anybody Possibly Know How I Feel?'
