Darling little baby garter snake that I almost stepped on when getting out of my car. Didn't appear to mind being picked up or photographed. Here he is trying to figure out what this giant shiny thing in front of him is.D70.

he was SO cute... didn't even mind being carried around the house and then back outside as i gathered my camera parts together. would have kept him but i know how much happier he'd be in my yard!
