Description
So was looking through so of my old work and found my old illustration of the Balrog (one of my first ever ink drawings) form the Lord of the Rings! After seeing it i figured it would be nice to have a go and redraw it and see how I've improved over the last 11/12 months and their has been quite the improvement.

For reference here was my first attempt for April of last year

Looking back it is mad to think of how much my style and ability with pen and ink has changed and really does make all of the hours spent drawing feel worth it!

Drawn onto a roughly 11x8 inch 250gsm piece of Bristol paper
I used my 0.1 and 0.3mm Uni-pin Fineliners as well as my Pentel pocket brush
