Description in SouthEast Asia, you'll see signs that says "NO DURIAN ALLOWED" in Public and Private offices/places, local transportation, Airports, either in writing or in picture. I guessed because of its distinctive smell (very strong and powerful). The fruit flesh is yellowish in color, and has a soft, cottony feel/texture look and taste (maybe, never try...). The fruit is a delicacies that they even produce/make ice-cream, candies, and chips out of it.
The chips durian is fine to me

as i recall it was i think it might have been food from different countries, have a taste from abroad sort of theme at the supermarkets.

although at the moment (cattle) goodness knows whats happening with foot and mouth disease at the moment, cattle etc are being culled (kill+bonfire) we probably be facing another uk cull sort of affair. fancy having the research facility studying the disease near to a farm. it apparently escaped.

I remember the stink very well! I think I ate it twice and was almost sick. My sister on the other hand used to LOVE them with a furious passion. She ate them for 5 years with no problems, and then one day she ate 7 in a sitting and has never touched them again! She's mad!
