Description Taken at the Columbus Zoo, one of the few unobstructed views at the zoo that had good lighting on the day. I really liked the detail in this shot.

Excellent photo! I think the only photos I have of rhinos from Pittsburgh Zoo are of their asses lol. Seems like eveytime I point the camera at them they turn no matter what position they are in to start with they turn. Maybe someday I can get a decent photo.

The same things happens to me. Or it's focused on the side opposite you! I actually have one good picture of the rhino at the Pittsburgh Zoo, and didn't realize it wasn't on here until now. [link]

That is a great photo. The mud makes it that much more of an amazing shot. I'll have to keep trying I suppose.

I just went yesterday, no rhino. Yea, keep trying, there's gotta be at least one time when you are there where it isn't eating, hiding, or eliminating! haha

My family just doesn't want to hear it that we should go to the zoo in the winter preferablly when there is snow on the ground haha. I keep trying to tell them tigers and the other big cats love the cold, but they are only worried about being cold themselves

Tigers, Lions, Sealions, and the Leopard were ALL out and active when I went last week. It's very true. Tell them there is the monkey house, elephants house, aquarium, and the underwater part. All were very warm!

I'm working on it. I'm getting a new camera that's a slight upgrade to the one I have, so need to take pictures of something

He was pretty far away too. The Columbus Zoo was the first place I had a chance to use the new camera, when I got back home and saw the detail in this picture, it really impressed me!

Would've never guessed you weren't up close. You definitively struck gold with that camera! ^_^
