Sorry for commenting on such an old artwork, but I read the caption and couldn't stop thinking about my mug. It's got a painting of a Jack Russell with a halo and wings that says "The dog I bought" and on the other side of the mug is the same Jack Russell but with devil horns and fire saying "Is the dog I got." XD

Is this a common saying? I was wondering because there is a song by that same title. Anyway I really like the simplicity of the image. Though there isn't anything threatening in the image there is still a sense of some dark undertone to it.

thanks. i am not aware - i was thinking that this is title of some poem or something. in polish such saying not exist. also i think that darkness come from stagnation - in such emotion as love is rather tragic. aren we supposed to love and be loved?

Well in terms of love we must first love ourselves as when we feel accept by our own self then we are confident in ourselves. Meaning we are able to give love back because we feel loved.
But there is a certain darkness and tragedy within your art. A sort of loneliness as well. But it isn't pretentious or overly dramatic but very subtle and honest. I admire your translation of emotion within your art. You seem to put a lot of care into it even if the image is simple. I haven't been emotionally connect with visual art in a long time. Generally the visual art that i admire is usually related to music. But there is no music here only a simple image that reflects hidden emotion. Your art is very impressive and surreal yet it is very rooted in reality.
I also enjoy the descriptions of them. They give deeper meaning to the images and feel important to the art piece itself. Honestly you have real talent in both story telling and translating that story into your artwork.

when i'm rethinking what you wrote i'm wondering how i should respond you or even if there is actually response on topic needed. i don't like people who celebrate their sadness or nostalgia as it will be something to be cool granted with. or even better - i never really think about emotions within my works. they are just as they are - and that's how i roll. i'm never really telling a story of myself as i'm sooo comon person people will be dying from boredom
also - i enjoy stories. why people step by step started forgetting to make riddles inside stories and everything is now so clear? i have no idea. my best regards! and sorry i overtalked in not necessary the best english

Oh no that's fine i enjoy well thought out responses. Regardless as how normal people can be i always find their stories interesting because everyone lives a slightly different structure. While your stories don't necessarily say anything specific about you, their vagueness and subtlety do carry a sense of honest emotion. Kind of like describing the struggles many of us go through everyday. They aren't dramatic but they do affect us in many ways. Its nice to have artwork like yours that describe such gentle and fragile emotions, because in a way we are all fragile.

Your drawing style changes frequently, but this one is my favorite. It was a piece in this style that I first liked. Even though I like this picture for other reasons, it was just a nice way to remember when I started to follow you. I just thought I'd let you know that.

ah i don't really watch cowboy-bebop, but i heard it's good serial. i just do love corgi as i said - they are too cute. i heard they are pretty meanies, but that doesn't really matter
