My Demonic Ghost - If we could stop time....

This is something the beautiful Laverinne wrote in an email to me, I love it so much I just had to show it to everyone. (hope you don't mind Laverinne)

Rachael is covered with white roses that twist around her body and hand, and also decorate her hair and dress. The white colour is her purity and although she really loves Lock, she can't touch him because the land is holding her. The white rose is also a symbol of the human world.

For Lock, he was drawn with black wings to represent his demonic side and his appearance of evil. The chain is also the symbol of the underworld that will always be holding him back making it impossible for him to really be with her. The choice of them smiling at each other helps spread the message; even though they are separated their love isn't a sad or depressing story, but a beautiful chance to feel love for the first time.

I am so in love with everything that this picture is, the tones, the detail and poistions and the gentle smiles... I mean... WOW! And she did it ALL by hand. If you have a moment you should go over to Laverinne's page and just look at all of her AMAZING artworks.

Rachael has traveled to Whitehaven to visit her father, a trek she can not help but dread given his recent descent into madness. Upon her arrival she realizes his deterioration has not only been mental, it's been physical as well. His death comes as no surprise, but what she discovers soon after, is shocking when his burden becomes hers.

Lock is a banished spirit who must attach himself to a human host in order to hide from those who would drag him back to hell to be destroyed. When he meets Rachael he finds more than a host, he finds an ally.

Together they must defeat each of the seven sins in order to guarantee Lock's safe passage into the Third Realm, a loophole in creation that would allow him to escape hell and have peace at long last. Through their unlikely friendship, other banished spirits flock to them in hopes of a peace they hadn't dreamt possible.
