Prepare for a long comment!
First off, the finished product of this is very nice. It captures the moment in time with feeling, presence and a put together ambiance.
The muscle definition and shadowing are very prominent and done quite well in the chest and groin area, and a bit in the neck also, but the rest is hardly. More all over would make it seem more balanced.
The head is well done, i am impressed, the eye seems submissive.
The front left hoof's position seems out of place a bit. If the joint of it were more bend so the hoof were downward pointing, it would make it more realistic.
As a whole, the anatomy is almost perfect, except the point i made about the hoof.
The mane and tail are not quite flowing enough to portray the gait this horse is moving, if they were more free-flowing, this would make the drawing have more feeling. And on a minor note, for the mane to run a bit farther on the whithers.
The markings on the horse are quite realistic, other than a few places (Middle underbelly, right front leg white/color transition) which could be smoother.
The work is nice in general, it looks as though you have a grasp on equine anatomy and such.
