This seems overly complicated. All I do is trace it in Paint and use gimp for the rest.

when i did the 16 bitmap it the colors didn't change at all, but i have found my own way with a little help of this tutorial to make a base. i used Photoshop, don't know what program you used. But in any case thanks for the tutorial it helped alot

This could be helpful for lining sketches.
Though I must say that tracing, even if you credit the original artist, is considered copyright infringement and art theft. You can be sued for it. Reason for that is the original piece is not a stock image or something you drew yourself.
It's perfectly fine to look at images for reference (using different aspects of different images to create an original pose), but it is very much illegal and morally wrong to directly copy another's work.

Right click instead of left clicking.

This doesn't counts as pixel work , this is like tracing.
