The embodiment of Arata's apathy and cynical thoughts, Deadman is what he is, a hollowed out dead man. His face shut behind a heavy helmet, it's practically impossible to tell what he's thinking, a trait that mirrors Arata's typical deadpan expression. He makes no sound and rarely ever moves, practically becoming deadweight when he straps himself down with his straitjacket. Deadman only lashes out when he is forced to and is quite hostile to anyone who tries to move him.

Weapon: Whips (Hansel and Gretel) - Without the use of hands, Deadman uses the straps at the ends of his sleeves as whips. Can deal sharp hits however this limits him to only being able to fight long range.

Indiana Jones: Special skill - In order to hold out longer in battle, once his VIT is down to 10%, Deadman encases himself in a large boulder, transferring all of his LCK and STR stats into his DEF. The boulder will continue to roll around, trampling whomever may be in its path until his VIT depletes to 0. Has no control of what direction he goes in.

Quipped with a perpetually deadpan expression, Arata is seemingly void of emotions and could easily be mistaken for a statue like a piece of home decor. He's quite but not shy at all. A realist at best, he can be terrifyingly blunt and has no qualms over pointing out people's mistakes or other nitpicky details that don't meet his standards. He is incredibly lazy and strictly does things at his own pace, quickly shutting down others who try to push him otherwise. He has strange interests and finds amusement in grossing people out. Though he acts to his own accord, he is definitely the sort of anchor one would need to help drag them down to reality if they needed it.

History:
Arata has always been a rather quiet and quirky sort of child, taking an interest in a variety of things others would find strange and weird. His father left the family soon after Arata was born so without much of a fatherly figure to look up to, Arata never really had an example of how a boy should act and by default always a mommy's boy. He was too frail in comparison to the other boys and was too strange for any of the girls to take a liking to as well. During grade school, the combination of these factors led to Arata being picked on and pushed around by other kids. For years Arata hardheadedly stood his ground and just took it but eventually reached the point where he refused to go to school. Distraught, his mother then had Arata take up home schooling for a number of years instead. After time passed, concerned for her son's social development after very little human interaction for so long, she urged Arata to enroll into a public high school. Unable to say no to his mother who has cared for and protected him for so long, Arata warily submitted to his mother's wishes and enrolled into Seiko high.

Presently, he's at the age where he isn't too sure of what to pursue in life so he takes things as they come and go. After years of being a shut in, he'd much rather not have to deal with others but secretly wishes that one day, he'll find something that'll make life worthwhile. He still holds a few reservations about going back to school, past the thick defenses of his perpetually blank expression, deep down, Arata harbors a fear of others and what they may think of him.

- Is always seen with food in his mouth or sipping juice.
- The tip of his tongue is always some sort of color thanks to all the lollipops and juices he consumes.
- Likes to grow out his nails for no particular reason.
