Description
This is my entry for the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon contest being held at smugmug.comJustin told me about this, so I gave it a shot. The point of the contest is to depict why you have turned into a pokemon and what your pokemon life is like. I'm not sure if I got all that into my picture...but it's too late, I already entered and the deadline is today. :B
So yeah...no stealy.

Colored pencils are such an ignored medium nowadays, so kudos on sticking with the classics! And you've got a really nice control of them too; the shading is really nice. I hate backgrounds too ><

I would work more with photoshop and such but...having a parent who freelances usin' photoshop can make it difficult to complete anything.

To be honest, I'm not even sure if they even contacted the winners yet! The rules stated they'd email the winners on the 20th but I haven't even found 1 person who received an email from them. I think it would be a good idea to send the request letter for the list of winners. I would do it but I'm on vacation right now! XD Anyway, good luck on your entry!

Very beautiful picture!! I love your pencil crayons coloring. I wish I could color like that with pencil crayons. XD The only thing I don't like in this pic is your portrayl of Ho-oh. It looks evil in that picture! lol. Ho-oh is suppose a holy-like Pokemon. Oh well. Did you get an email from the contest holders? I think they announced the winners a few days ago.

Ah yeah, Ho-oh looks pretty menacin' here huh. xD I think that would've given me more of a chance of winning if I depicted him holy-ish I guess...cause there was no luck for me this time. :[

I don't know many of the newer pokemon (Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald and on. I stopped at Crystal)
My favorite pokemon was always Scizzor (or however you spell it) But I don't think that I could really identify with what it represents
