Description
It's possible you're sick of hearing about and seeing this painting I've been working on for the past 8 years. But turn your frown upside down because I, like, just finished a blockbuster state of the art experimental photography expedition which you have GOT to hear about.
The picture is too big for a simple photosnap to work, so I locked it off into 9 sections. Ut it’s not simple to snap 9 different pics because the camera has to be perrrrfectly centered on each section. So I used tape to section it off, measuring extreemely precise (ish) in order to get perfectly vertical and perpendicular lines to guide the camera. Then I ripped the tape off after each shot and measured again and reapplied for the new shot (because even though I was moving the tape initially it was still getting in the way of the content).
But there's more! Just one shot on each section will not work, because at the atomic quantum level, light is extremely annoying and causes glare. So I needed one picture with the light from the left, and one from the right, the in photoshop I erased the glare from oth images and blended them together. So theres 18 different images in this one image! This is big enough for a full size print which would be 6 feet x 8 feet.
