In Dusty’s story, "New Animal Life", April still works as a journalist while she’s a Teenage Kunoichi Turtle with Mutant powers. Mona isn’t a college student, but still a teenage anthro salamander and Raphael’s girlfriend. Venus was never separated by the other turtles and she learned the art of ninja by Splinter. They all wear female ninja turtle-like gear. April is an anthro light green turtle with a light brown shell, wears a yellow scarf around her neck like Mona’s, and haves her brown hair in a ponytail.
