(2008 drawing)This is a 2H-6B pencil drawing (on A2 paper) of current Australian Formula One driver Mark Webber, in the 2008 RB4.
It took me about 2 months on-and-off to complete it.
The camera I used didn't display the true contrast of the real drawing, so it has been slighty adjusted in photoshop.

I prefer the look of the 2008 ferrari but the RB4 is a close second.

The F2008 looked awesome. I think my favourite two cars of the season were the MP4-23, and the F2008. The design of the BMW Sauber also looked quite nice.

I'm currently drawing the RB6.. which is very difficult since the front and rear wings are so big.

There are countless photos of the car, and just seeing them makes me appreciate how the RB6 was tweaked as much as it was during the year. It has really been a challenge to draw, but it was one my goals anyway (Vettel's RB6).
Can't wait to see your drawing as well. You are definitely someone I could learn from.

Yeah, I feel so incredibly nervous about the big race today. I can't believe Mark only qualified 5th. He'll need a lot of luck to win the Drivers title today.

Let?s hope Red Bull can win the championship this year. Looks like they hold a very good change. I?m just hoping Webbers bad luck won?t continue.

I could talk about RBR all day. Been a fan of Vettel since 2008, he's a genius. The championship is in his hands, he just needs a reliable car, like in the Malaysian grand prix.

Oh my god! Flawless drawing! I'm astound. Great quality and nothing messy... I swear I can't do that. One of the best looking F1-cars of the season together with the BMW I think. The 2009 models will, however, look like crap

Bloody awesome, dude! I can't imagine how hard an F1 car would be to draw with all the aero pieces sticking out of every inch of the car. I've made a pixelated one and that was hard enough.

Thanks TW! Yeah, I'm really pleased that the Bull came out so well. I thought that would be one of the most difficult parts to draw, but it turned out to be one of the easiest. I just kinda drew it on the first go, unlike every other sponsors which took me about 50 times each. I'm suprised I didn't have holes through my paper, after all the erases I did.

Oh yeah... trying to draw all those sponsors was complete hell. Especially the 'redbullracing.com' stickers on the side. I think that alone took me about a week... and it still looks off. Won't be doing that in a hurry anytime soon.
Yeah, poor old Webber. One of the top 3 drivers in F1, but he's never had the car dominate. His engines always seem to blow up... or someone usually crashes into him before the finish. Some day...
