Description Year 12 Art Folio: Piece 2
Royal Exhibition Building, Melbourne.

Studying Rick Amor's paintings, I manipulated scale and contrast to give the building an ominous undertone c:

charcoal, conte, kneaded eraser, blue pastel, canvas paper.
approx. 1.4 x 0.9m.

really nice! did u use black paper and mostly white charcoal? I have been attempting this media and find I kind of have to think reverse of my normal graphite. Do u do that?

Nope, this was done black on white. I used a rough textured canvas-type paper (off-white) and black charcoal. I did use white charcoal for some highlights, but I find the natural white of the paper much more appealing
