I think it's just that when someone submits work for sale dA don't bother checking for quality control (that it's high enough resolution, etc) until the first time someone actually orders it. But don't worry, all my images are edited for reproduction up to poster-size and I've never had one rejected. And if they reject any prints then they obviously can't charge for them anyway.
