oh its fun...you either hate it or you love it..

Well the place I learned the most was here:
[link]

they have almost every tutorial that you can think of..and forums where you can ask questions..but I am here too and would be more than happy to answer any questions that you may have.

For a beginning weave..I would recommend byzantine (was my first), european 4 in 1, helm, spiral...

If you want to buy your rings...or wire for that matter..I buy them here..
[link]

but there are other places too that you can buy as well..depending on what material that you want to use. depending on how much you want to spend too..

The material that I used to begin with is galvanized steel...and bright aluminum is also cheap and very easy to use, as its more pliable than steel. Copper is another one. I really do recommend bright aluminum as a beginning wire.

so..do you want to buy rings? or cut them on your own? I cut my own bright aluminum rings...I use knitting needles stuck in the end of a drill..I coil them up and then cut them with aviation snips.

That is so cool. It is not an idea I have seen before, or would have ever thought of.

I like it, and I hope you come up with some more ideas for scales in your weaves. : )

Beautiful. I may have to steal that idea... It'd be really cool with diagonals pointing to the center of the neck...
