Hey, Cats! Since tomorrow is Too (BLANK) Tuesday again I reckoned I should post at least one or two images that were a little less (BLANK). These are from a couple years ago, done no doubt in homage to the hard-boiled adventure magazines and pulp novels of my youth; i.e. Mack Bolan's smart-ass nephew heads off into the desert sunset in search of a decent espresso...Probably more of a light study than anything else.

Great lighting! As a traditional artist I always appreciate stock photos with shadows and highlights - flat lighting is definitely less interesting to work from.
Anyway. Thanks for the great stock as usual - is it hard work to be so awesome?

Heck yeah! Was never a big fan of Fred Ward, but he tried hard. As the owner of a cabaret, I will always have a very special place in my heard for Joel Grey and I thought he did an incredible job.

Everyone really ran with what they got! I think I had recently seen the Thing before seeing Remo and it had really made an impression, so I was somewhat weirded out by Wilford Brimley being in it - I think I half-expected him to go bugnuts and break out the fire axe instead of contemplating the heart attack pill

There were so many books, they must have already fought the Thing by now. Although even Miaowara Tomokato didn't take it on, so maybe Remo and Chiun stayed away from it too. It's definitely one of those 'nuke it from orbit' buggers.

Your lighting is much better now, a lot of your older work was very dark. In my opinion too many stock artists try to "help" by adding hard shadows and lighting. I feel that is unnecessary and only washes out parts of a photo that might otherwise be useful.
At any rate, nice to see more stuff.
