^_^ Brand New Day is my fave song, and his scary awesome happy smile as he realizes he'll just kill Captain Hammer.

ooooh nice!!! I wanna see them!!
I am cosplaying as Dr Horrible for an art assignment. I have to go around school dressed as him while one of my friend takes photos so I can use in an artwork. The coat is a b*tch :/ I got one, it just needs sleeves and it needs to be dyed red (red coat FTW!)

haha nice. I like red coat because my white coat isn't exactly clean...
If i was in america and attending that con, i would go but I'm stuck in Australia :/ we have crap cons

Awwww... well if you ever travel around and find yourself in America and happen to hit Washington state, I'd be honored to run around with a fellow Dr.Horrible fan! I've been attending Sakura-con in Seattle for the last 3 years in a row, it's the biggest anime convention in the northwest and its' EPIC!

aw thank you! well if you EVER visit Australia, have a good time, you might get sun burnt >.> unless you visit around north queensland in summer. We have no sun just floods and rain

Jagarnot In reply to kaijuart [2010-09-22 15:00:20 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, I don't handle sun too well. I never tan, I just burn... I'm very pale. I blame Norway! lol
But I would love to travel someday, the only thing holding me back is money. XD

kaijuart In reply to Jagarnot [2010-09-22 22:30:16 +0000 UTC]
haha I am so pale as well! I never go out that much. Also we have only two seasons:
The wet season
and The dry season
thats pretty much it, unless we have a cold winter. Then yeah its weird.
I know! I am trying to find a job so I can have spending money for comic con, but its kinda hard T_T

I like the climate of my area, it's a desert town in a little valley. Very windy but pretty comfortable for the most part.
Good luck with finding a job, I could use a second job myself...

haha nice, I live in a valley surrounded by rain forests and rivers, its really beautiful
Until it floods :/
thanks, no use so far, but my Dr Horrible cosplay is getting somewhere, I got the boots and I am going to do get the dye and pants today.
a second job? oh that sucks

Well I want a second job because I don't get very many hours. It'd really help my fund for Sakura-con next year! I wanna have spending money for useless convention stuff!

ah yeah, I just babysit whenever I get a chance too. All I do is go on Facebook and DA while the kids are in bed, I get an easy $20

I really miss my previous job because it gave the hours I needed and was cool. I used to work at a movie theater, it was just a janitorial job and I worked at weird hours of the night but it was awesome. Sadly the theater closed down so we were all laid-off.
My new job is also a janitorial job (I had 3 years experience from working at the theater), so I slipped into this job quite comfortably. I just get very few hours. On the bright side though, pretty much everyone at my new work place likes me! I work at a lodge where elderly people hang out, get drunk and gamble lol. I'm surprised they took to me so well considering that I dress weird and have piercings! XD

that sucks. But its good that all your workmates like you!
I am afraid to get a job. I was teased for my looks althrough primary school so that has left me shy and sorta a little scared of the workplace

I'm not too good at talking with people either, but sometimes you do have to push yourself when it comes to things you want. Not fun but it's a part of life.
Visual arts like video games and animation are excellent choices if you want to have a job that doesn't deal with many people outside your basic co-workers. That's one of the reasons I'd like to write comic books someday. It's something that can be done within my own home and I wouldn't have to deal with many people. It's quite the luxury, don't you think?
I really hope you find a job that makes you happy! It'll make affording all those conventions and pointless other fun stuff a lot easier to accomplish!

kaijuart In reply to Jagarnot [2010-09-24 00:30:14 +0000 UTC]
yeah thats one of the reasons why I choose it XD. Also it;ll be a fun job, I mean drawing and writing for a job would be the best thing in the world to do. But it also requires some skill. I want to go to university, spending 10,000 dollars on two courses at like the best university in Australia when it comes to the arts.
Thank you very much! I hope you get the second job that you want. I am going to the Gold Coast for a conference, and I need money for that, plus I am a big movie freak and I wanna go see Dr Horrible 2 when it comes out on its first screening (I know that'll be in a few years but still I AM SO EXCITED!

Well I sure hope you achieve all of your future dream job type stuff! I'm still working on writing a comic book I've had in the works for a few years now. I have the first 4 volumes completely written and sketched out (2 of them fully inked).
I also am very excited about Dr.Horrible 2, but I doubt I'll be able to see it immediately when it first comes out since I live in a very small town. ><

thanks, its really hard though, my teacher is so tough when it comes to marking, only people who do photography get higher than a C which I think is biased

Oh man, I slacked off so hard in high school art, it isn't even funny! Yet I still got an A somehow... I hardly did any work. >_>
I think it's partly because I was better than the teacher. lol
