First off I would like to say the following, damn!
Second, I will be informing you that this is a collaboration between ~offermoord and myself. Not only is it cool that another artist takes the time to work with you, it's even cooler when the artist happens to be one who's style you really dig, dig?
Third, damn! Did I already say that? Allow me to rephrase. I REALLY like this, for various reasons. This started as a drawing of mine that was unfinished, ~offermoord took that drawing and made it into what you see before you. Now there is great contrast between the main characters of the drawing and the background. The background itself, a night sky, sets a dark mood to the whole drawing and transitions pretty nicely from the upper portion of the drawing where the spiraling star is casting light. In the upper portion of the drawing, the background consists of a bunch of scribbles, because of that the is plenty of little white spaces which add to the effect of it being illuminated. If you look closely though you will see that the scribbles are spiraling into the star. So then, is it really a star? Or is it the void from which the creative mind manifests (paradox)? The other dimension which the sultry female character came from? IDK, but I like that small detail, a lot. The character thing which I drew was fleshed out some more, the patterns that ~offermoord added mix well with it, not only that but it was introduced a new limb in the form of a patterned tentacle, fuck yeah. The female character coming forth from the tangled growth, dark and sexy. And my favorite thing about this, tentacle and hand, slowly reaching out for each other, the union of opposites nearly complete. It's like a multidimensional Beauty and The Beast.
