Description Has anyone here worked out yet what/how to photograph on a totally overcast day? We seem to have alot of them around the UK...

Grunta Beach, Woolacombe, Devon, UK.

I wish you could see the detail in the rocks here, it's increadible.

I really like this...and I can see plenty of detail in the rock as it is.

I enjoy shooting in overcast weather, flat light gives a completely different feel...I've got some shots in flat light that I really want to submit one day...infact, typing this i can see my last 5 shots in that box thing-y below me and this [link] was shot in flat overcast light.

Thanks. It becomes even more about composition when the light is flat, that and details, textures and (for me) minimalising distraction - I have a seriously minimal shot (a square long exposure of course) which I took later that day but I'm not convinced to put it up yet - I think it is gonna be "too much" for ppl.....
