Made using HB, H and 8B graphite pencils. Drawn on A5 drawing paper.
Time: about 1 - 1 and a half hours.

Great use of negative shading (means rather than using the pencil to shade, you've used an eraser to get the white highlights)

Try to make use of your darker pencils. Follow the reference photo Where it's dark on the photo, make it dark on the drawing, same with the lights. It can be scary going too dark when drawing. But do the dark parts light, and just build it up with layers until you have what you want.
You'll find your drawings will really pop out and look more realistic Practice it. It'll do wonders for your drawings

thanks, i picked that up for when i drew a pic of Luke Steele --> [link] <--

i know that, i have been trying, it looks a lot darker in the real drawing, when i took the photo the light messed with it a bit plus my camera changes it a bit
