Description
Not so long a ago, a Yugituber called Yugioh Everything made contest on what the potential 6th protagonist of the Yu-Gi-Oh franchise. So, I decided to jump right on it.

My character's name is Yumi Hana. To her school, she's a quiet nerdy girl, who is the worst duelist of all time. But to Dueling underground, she's Yukika the Snow Queen duelist, who has never been defeated. When she was 8 years, her father, a pro duelist, was killed by underground psychic duelist. Now all grown up, she seeks her father's killer to bring justice upon him, while he seeks her out for his own wicked purpose.

I imagine this series takes place a decade after the events of ARC-V. In that time, there has been a rise in psychic duelists, causing major accidents and cheating on a Pegasus level. To combat this, psychic duelist were forbidden to enter all official Duel Monster events. This act has resulted in a prejudice against anyone with unnatural abilities.

I drew inspiration from the most badass female card players from the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise and Cardfight!! Vanguard. Here is a list of some of those inspirations.

Yumi has two decks. Her first deck, Floral Maiden, is tribute base, but that changes over the course of the series. Her second deck, Ice Floral, plays like a mixture between Gem-Knights and Metalfoes. Her ace monster is Ice Floral Knight - Edelweiss.
